Remove Isearch.babylon.com Virus from Your PC



Isearch.babylon.com is A Malicious Website

Isearch.babylon.com is a malicious as r.looksmart.com browser hijacker infection, which usually pretends to be an extension that can optimize your surfing environment. However, its features are so evil that you should trust it in no way. First of all, it must be the one that should be responsible for modifying your default settings and important files in your system. In this way, it can prevent you from visiting some certain websites, replace your homepage by its own site, and changing your favorites and bookmarks and so on.  Besides, Isearch.babylon.com is likely to reroute your search results. It means that when you type your search question and hit the “Go”buttun, you will be redirected to some unwanted sites or bogus search engine forcibly, which will provide you with lots of annoying ads, suspicious links and various malware. That’s the reason why you should be cautious enough when you surf the Internet and update your protector software frequently. Manual Removal Guide of Isearch.babylon.comVirus

Step 1: Restart the computer, keep pressing F8 till the option appears, and then use arrow keys to select Safe Mode with Networking.



Step 2: End related processes of Isearch.babylon.com. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete together to run Task Manager.


Step 3: Uninstall all suspicious programs. Click Start menu, then Control Panel, and click Programs and Features.
 

Step 4: Open Start Menu and then go to Control Panel. Use the search bar to look for Folder Option. Check Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) in the View tab of Folder Option window.

Step 5: Remove dropped registry files of Isearch.babylon.com. Hit Win+R to activate Run, and then type “regedit” and press OK. Find unfamiliar keys and click Delete.

Step 6: Remove toolbars and extension from your web browser.

For Google Chrome

1. Click the icon that looks like a spanner and navigate to Tools > Extensions to remove all unknown extensions by clicking Bin button.


2. Click the icon that looks like a spanner and click Settings > Appearances > Show Home button > click Change button to reset your homepage.


For Mozilla Firefox

1. Click Ctrl+Shift+A at the same time to open Add-ons page > Extensions to remove all unknown extensions.
 


2. Click the Firefox button > Help > Troubleshooting Information > click on Reset Firefox button.


For Internet Explorer

1. Click Tools > Manage Add-ons > Toolbars and Extensions to remove all unknown extensions.


2. Click Search Providers, delete Isearch.babylon.com from IE.


3. Click Tools > Internet Options > General. And create a new homepage on Home page box.

Step 7: Reboot your PC.
