Effectively Remove/Uninstall AnyProtect Rogue Program from XP/Vista/Win7/8




Basic Description of AnyProtect 

AnyProtect is a deceptive program that disguises itself as a backup program to cheat computer users. This program says that it is able to protect your PC well and provide you with cloud storage service. Of course, it is a paid service. How to Uninstall AnyProtect from Your Computer?

Step 1: Restart the computer, keep pressing F8 till the option appears, and then use arrow keys to select Safe Mode with Networking.


Step 2: End related processes of AnyProtect. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete together to run Task Manger.


Step 3: Open Start Menu and then go to Control Panel. Use the search bar to look for Folder Option. Check Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) in the View tab of Folder Option window.


Step 4: Delete all files related to AnyProtect as below:

%PROGRAMFILES\ AnyProtectEx\AnyProtect.exe
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ AnyProtectScannerSetup.exe

Step 5: Click Start button and search for “regedit” to open Registry Editor. Then remove registries of AnyProtect as below:


HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Step 6: Restart your computer
