The Details of ShieldRen

ShieldRen is a nettlesome pop-up virus that can hijack your Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. And similar to YontooPageRage, this pop-up virus will do harm to your computer as well. As soon as it infiltrates into your PC, it will change the settings of your browser so as to take it over completely. This ShieldRen is able to display numerous commercial ads with discounts, coupons and price comparisons each time you open your browser. In addition to ads, this ShieldRen adware program also replaces your default browser homepage and redirects regular websites in a bid to persuade you to download some unknown programs created via third parties.
Besides, this ShieldRen pop-up is a potential risk because it can use the dubious ads to distribute several precarious viruses to your operating system. Once your computer suffers various attacks, its performance will be slowed down seriously.  One of the reasons is that lots of system resources are taken up by the files of viruses. What’s more, some of the propagating viruses have the ability to track your browser histories and Internet traces.
